For me, working for binder|consulting means being empowered to and supported in taking over project responsibility. From an early stage in my career, I was able to substantially contribute to project deliverables, actively participate in client meetings, and even deliver a presentation at a national HR conference. Such opportunities are challenging and exciting alike; and they motivate me to develop myself further – both professionally and personally. Moreover, I am much aware of their uniqueness in the sphere of consulting.
However, being a part of b|c does not only entail performing project-related tasks. It also subsumes entering the Munich office in the early morning, opening the blinds to let in the new day's rays of light, arranging my workspace with a pot of tea and a carafe of water. It includes listening to the muted sound of my colleagues filling the space shortly thereafter, populating our open working space as well as the separated rooms. It entails enjoying each other's company during lunch and coffee (or – at least in my case – tea) breaks. It means exchanging about work to the same extent as about society, politics, or who is currently leading in terms of Urban Sports Club check-ins.
For me, working for binder|consulting means identifying myself with our culture – one that transcends the realms of consulting and creeps into our common interests, worries, and dreams.
It is this culture, our open and caring interactions that carry me through the highs and lows of my professional life.
