What drives us
Work is a constant in our lives. Work is the essential source for sustaining our livelihoods and to an extent also of meaning. This will not change.
But how work is being done will keep on changing. The pace of change should be as high as the pace of change in the world around us. Otherwise, work will lose its value, and not contribute to the quality of our lives.
This is reflected by HR’s path from an administrative unit to a strategic contributor. Today it is HR’s role to design and run the organizational systems in which work can flow and develop.
These systems need to be flexible, digitized, fit for humans and provide constant learning. They need to allow for work to happen freely, adding value to the organization, the individual, and with some will also to the planet.
For us, it is both a privilege and an incentive to design such systems. We don’t stand in the spotlight. But we make a difference in the success of companies and in the lives of a large number of people.
